In an earlier forum we suggested, that when the opportunity arose we might:
2. Outpost - 3-day - Indoor - Village Hall - 'Winter Retreat' - Celebrate the Utopia Geoffrey at the end of this Outpost - Where would this be? - How would this be organised and funded?

Is there any potential in a different type of Outpost than has occurred previously?

Are we homeless? Wouldn't we take our 'home' with us?

Are we homeless? Wouldn't we take our 'home' with us? yeah, i just thought of some kind of patronising workshop showing how to make your own home in the alleys of Mannheim

TGP also has a new dome, 20' Yurt Dome- www.shelter-systems.com/extra-strong.html - that could be used as communal, meeting space of some kind if we didn't want to do a project that was about living in the dome (this was bought for TGP but has never been used)

Winston, you're so peculiar. I think it'd be interesting to have a project/outpost that wasn't so much about the practicalities of survival, and looked more at the things that hold geodecians together - especially as we're struggling with that right now. The far away world being the utopia that we perhaps all imagined when we signed up, that we're no closer to achieving (which is fine, obv).
Perhaps something that would go back to first principles and work on something that can connect us as a group, and bring other people into that, something a bit more culty, which reminds me, amelia b-h was wondering what would happen if the geodecians and The Family got together...

I agree that if we propose something to WdP it should be less about survival and help Geodecians develop other aspects - what would hold us together? Or is the proposal a way of finding that out?

This is where TGP is - and as you say still quite fragile - is the proposal some kind of 'team building' exercise (I probably don't really mean that, but first thing that came to mind), a series of activities, exercises that lead to a stronger Geodecian unit with a direction and a will to achieve it!

I think she meant being separate groups working together on something, but it might be interesting to see if there is any desire from people to combine in any way, I mean The Family have kind of mutated, and most of what came out of it wouldn't be appropriate for this, but there might be some other stuff that didn't get explored that some people involved might like to explore as geodecians instead? not sure, just thinking off the top of my head here
