The Event proposal was written in a couple of days - as we only found about it a couple of days before the deadline, and from experience adding things to the wiki hasn't received quick responses - ideally we would have discussed it at this forum and we've still got time to choose its direction

bonus - i understand about the lack of time.
maybe all future geodecian events/outposts should be made collectivly? some sort of vote/disscussion about the fact that we want to do something and then we decided where and what we do.
the decision to have a mini pig outing is sort of doing this.

Dogme: I think that's a good idea, to encourage the community to help take decisions.

We might not be selected, it is still an idea and can be submitted to other opps if people are interested in it, or dropped if not - the project also needs to think about how it funds itself to do things, so if an outing is organised the project can cover costs

But the wiki (if we want it to grow and be informative) require a certain amount of dedicated time to keep it up to date... time's a huge challenge for me but i'm happy to do what I can when I can and maybe to get the wiki and forum working in sync, good practice for failed world job skills

Bonus: I should be able to do that evening, but some days I don't get home until 7, so not sure whether I could do that early until I see my rota

Ideally any Geodecian would think that they could organise a TGP event and make an application from The Geodecity Project. This may require some discussion and would be better for it. The Doc that is online now could serve as a template for future applications written by others.
If others spot a relevant opportunity, art or non art related, a group could chat about it on the forum to develop ideas for it.

Do we also want to agree a date/time for Beachball Mini-pig or is it something to discuss/agree in SL next week?

Obviously people can also contribute on the forum in the meantime.

7pm is usually fine, wouldn't have thought this would be an exception

A community outing might work, going and visiting something specific that we were all interested in... We also briefly discussed a gathering around a Geodecians house, and maybe watching video material of Geodecities past? But now that feels a little odd now we are more looking to the future...Something happening at somebodies house may still work though. if copies are available or meetings can be arranged i quite enjoy reviewing the videos like we did at lumsden and could work through them to get everything on the wiki, probably best to also be able to do it at home too as difficult to do in one viewing re capturing quotes etc
