i'd feel a bit odd sleeping on school grounds, maybe it's a lovely school, but i just have visions of kids hanging round to fuck with us

Also depends on how many people are sleeping in a dome, and what the spring is like. We could always propose to stay on site in the domes and see what the school says to that? they might not like the idea, but I think it would be more Geodecian to stay in the domes. We could always take it as an opportunity to work on dome heating!

a week seems like a good length of time to do things in
if we couldn't handle the dome the alternative could be some kind of caravan? maybe an adapted caravan

It was OK at Parks Primary, all the kids get sent away after a certain time out of the school grounds. It will obviously depend on what the school grounds are like, another thing to ask What alternative would you think would work Miranda?

That is a good point! My best friend lives in Shepshed (and is a school teacher, though at a different school), I might just text her to get the low-down!

probably wouldn't mind sleeping in a dome that time of year (although i might be working so dunno if i could take part) - just would need to be somewhere secure, also toilets and stuff would need to be thought about. i wouldn't want to be peeing in bushes and have some kids taking photos on mobile phones. i've got a terrible idea of kids haven't i? it comes from the feral brats i taught when i did cover in schools for a bit

Have texted her, so we shall see! We could do indoor sleeping domes, maybe in a sports hall or other open space they have, but it depends on how much they use it and how long we propose to stay. Maybe we could be slightly vague on where exactly we want to stay, just say it would be 'on site' and work that one out with the school later?
