I was wondering if a sign up action similar to what we did at DCA migth be relevant for this? Or another idea others are keen on? www.greenroomarts.org/about-greenroom/artist-development/emergency/Artists working in live art, contemporary performance, time-based media and interdisciplinary arts are invited to submit proposals of short pieces of work, works in progress or extracts of longer works for inclusion in this event. emergency is: * a free public platform weekend * an opportunity for artists to meet, show and peer review work * a selection event for a number of small Method Lab and Seedfund commissions to be developed and supported by greenroom and hÅb * an artist networking event. Proposals should be for pieces with some live presence, 20 minutes maximum for show-type work, technically simple and adaptable to quick turnarounds. Intervention-based works in and around greenroom are also strongly encouraged. emergency 2009 will take place on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October 2009 in Manchester. The closing date for applications is Friday 7 August 2009
