The only way I can see Geodecity progressing or encoraging more people to join is through a lot of commitment and energy from those that are already engaged... so that it appears to be fun to onlookers.
Currently though, I can't see that happening due to everyone's other commitments.
We essentially have the same situation with Insectoid

What do we want to do about that (if anything)?

Has it run its course, or is there any life left in it?

IT seemed like more people were involved as long as I promoted it a little beforehand, with out this constant reminder it is just forgotten, but at the same time we don't want to be pushing people to be involved...

Has it run its course, or is there any life left in it? It's at least hit a wall. Perhaps we accept we're not going to organise any events for a while, if ever, and just try a few informal gatherings of those who're still active, I think people were quite keen on meeting up for a chat/ritual/party before, that might be a better way of seeing where we stand. The online meetings are a bit cold without a sense of community to back them up

I think that if an opportunity came up where we thought "obviously that's a geodecity project waiting to happen" I'd be interested, but at the moment it seems like too big a commitment for too small a pay off

If we decided on a Geodecian informal gathering (like the one planned for Birmingham that didn't happen) and see if anyone else showed up - would we go to it, or is this also too big a commitment?

I think the Wunder Der Prarie opp was right for Geodecity (irrespective of their decision), but we didn't get anywhere with developing a proposal - we all indicated an interest in putting something together, Ishtar, Sailor and Buck also indicated an interest, maybe Bonus, but we still didn't get past the idea that we 'should' propose something.

I guess it needs to seem like fun, not like work. Not that it needs to be just socialising, but more creative and experimental, not like a meeting I think I'm having trouble finding the 'red line' - I don't feel it's got a utopian (or distopian) hook for me at the moment

Sorry, I drifted off there. Fracking exhausted.
Right now, I can't think of anything that would make much effort towards Geodecity, unless it was... I even ran out of enthsiasm for that setence and correcting my spelling

Just for tonight, I'd hate to end on a drifting off, I'll try to organise a Brum meet in a bit, but not immediately as I've got a few things on
