Individual domes that are big enough to sleep in and turn over as a coracle (there's no way I know how to do this, just wanted to say it as a pretty but impossible idea)

they are electric aren't they ? and then you could plug them into a windmill.
we'd have to figure out how to make one from scratch though i reckon... might take some time.
we could make a lo-fi sort of version

We could make some with a windmill on the back that charges it as you go!

We could make some with a windmill on the back that charges it as you go! that'd be great and you'd speed up and slow down depending on the weather!

it used to cost---> Sir Clive Sinclair's baby, launched in January 1985, was a single-seat three-wheeler with bizarre steering handles and a top speed of 15mph. Built by Hoover in Wales and sold at your local Comet alongside other domestic appliances, one big drawback was the price: £399, not including 'accessories' such as indicators (£19.95), mirrors (£14.95) and items such as seat cushions or rain covers. Still, when sales failed to take off, many tech-freaks managed to negotiate huge discounts.
Fewer than 17,000 found homes, after problems with cold-weather battery life and, worse, much-publicised safety concerns. But apart from the obvious (meeting a large SUV or HGV, say), how silly does a zero-emissions, £399 commuter vehicle sound to you now? Come back, Sir Clive, and have another go.
