i didnt quite understand you last post, Dogme. if it was in relation to the length of an outpost, i think a couple of days would be a good epriod of time, as we have discussed in the past that 4/5 is too much of a committment for some people.

I know !!! We need a celebratory event like a Geodecian Christmas (obviously Geodecians shouldn't celebrate Christmas) A festivity of some kind to celebrate

I think more would come out of a physical meeting for a couple of hours than it would an on line meeting like this, more commitment needed so perhaps more preperation would go into it in some way... Could happen in some ones house or studio space, or we could hire a hall or meeting room etc, however I would rather we decided to do something as opposed to meeting just to talk about doing something.

Yahoo was suggesting that she would prefer a couple of hours, rather than a couple of days, so I was asking if you thought that TGP activity had to be longer than a couple of hours, or if you would be interested in activity that lasted hours rather than days.

i agree with buck, that a couple of hours may go down the same route as the forum meetings. unless their was a specific event/reson for the outpost being only a few hours long.
i lovley little village hall would be nice...... a winter retreat in a village hall

I reckon the Geoffrey is definitely overdue in celebrating, might get more of the community back together!

So maybe we set a date and work towards it. Was there an official Utopia Geoffrey day date?

I think there are two campus here, the Outpost camp, and the event camp, just an observation

so there seems to be some sense of a move towards an indoor 3-day outpost, in a village hall, with the Utopia Geoffrey as part of that - Yahoo would that get you along to it?

Sounds good to me. None of this middle of a field in winter business for me, a village hall sounds more toasty
