I don't think the forums have completely run its course, but agree it probably takes someone (with an agenda point) to kickstart them a bit more.

i dont see the initial decline as a reason to end the forum meetings. i like the regularity of the meetings, and the fact you can miss a few (like myself) and then come back and join in at a later date. i guess i think the only reason to stop with forum meetings is if the forums arnt actually contributing to the development of the project.

The accounts from the Summer Retreat - we thought that we would compile these as the text that is on reactorweb.com about the project. In the past (at Outposts) an individual has written an account, Buck did Arena, Miranda did Heron Mill. These can also be used to support TGP in whatever way might be useful in the future...

Does that mean that you think they are currently contributing to the project?

So in a funny kind of way you are creating a Geodecian diary I think that would make a nice ritualistic object

I guess they are contributing - in the sense that TGP is only these forum meetings and the meetings in SL at present.

Yes there is the possibility that the accounts are made more of, either as an object, or as content for some future incarnation of the project.

But it still feels like the online meetings, require some physical thing to come out of them...

Maybe online meetings only happen when there is something to discuss, and they can be initiated by one person when this needs to happen?
What ever happened to Raymond?

When we came back from the Summer Retreat, I was genuinely interested in the TGP trip to the DCA and the encounters with people - even if this did not lead to new active Geodecians, it seemed to do something for the Geodecians present. As the weeks pass by and we have stopped talking about doing something physical this genuine interest seems to dwindle.

Maybe online meetings only happen when there is something to discuss, and they can be initiated by one person when this needs to happen? However, when we had something specific to discuss - the proposals - we were unable to reach any agreement in the time we had. I think that we need to discuss these kind of ideas before we have to, so that there are ideas that people have discussed and agree upon.
